Specialty coffee isn’t just a trend—it’s a matter of origin. Of people, places, and craft. At Honest Greens, we’ve always believed coffee should have something meaningful behind it. Now, that story is also told on the outside—with brand new packaging. And what’s inside? Much more than just coffee.
This coffee comes from the Las Verapaces region in the heart of Guatemala. Grown at 1,900 meters above sea level, it’s cultivated organically and sustainably by the indigenous Pocomchí and Q’eqchí communities—who have been growing coffee here for generations.
It’s a 100% single-origin Arabica, featuring varietals like Typica, Catuai, and Bourbon. Once harvested, the cherries are pulped, fermented, and washed using time-honored methods passed down through the years.
The result? A clean, well-balanced cup with notes of hazelnut, cocoa, and panela—a true reflection of the care and respect poured into every bean.
Our second origin takes us to the southern highlands of Motozintla, Chiapas, where coffee grows between 1,200 and 1,320 meters under the natural shade of Inga trees. This slower, shaded growth allows for richer, more complex flavor development.
The beans—Catimor, Sarchimor, and Red Caturra—offer a distinct and layered profile. But what really sets this coffee apart is its natural decaffeination process, known as Mountain Water. In this natural method, the coffee is first exposed to steam, then immersed and filtered to remove the caffeine, and finally dried for four hours before it is ready. The result is a smooth, well-rounded cup you can enjoy any time of day.
Our new packaging isn’t just about looks—it’s about transparency. Each design is crafted to spotlight what matters most: where the coffee comes from, how it’s made, and how it tastes.
- Only grind what you’re going to use.
- Match your grind to your brewing method (coarser for French press, finer for espresso).
- Use filtered water—ideally low in minerals—at around 90ºC.
- And most importantly: take your time. This coffee was made to be savored slowly.
Each origin has its own personality. Each cup tells a different story. Now with packaging that reflects everything behind the brew. Discover them at Honest Beans.
